Over sixty Ithaca College students were honored with the Peggy R. Williams Award for Academic and Community Leadership, an award recognizing students who excel academically, perform service to the college community and nation, and represent an exemplary level of accomplishment.

The following students have been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the fall 2016 semester.

Students have been named to the University of Delaware Dean's List for the Fall 2016 semester.

Miami University students who are ranked in the top three percent of undergraduate students within each division for first semester 2016-17 have been named to the president's list recognizing academic excellence.

Select students have been named to the Fall 2016 Dean's List at Roger Williams University in Bristol, R.I. Full-time students who complete 12 or more credits per semester and earn a GPA of 3.4 or higher are placed on the Dean's List that semester.

Each academic term, Holyoke Community College recognizes superior scholarship through the Dean's List. A student is placed on the Dean's List if his or her G.P.A. is 3.2 or higher. These students have earned Dean's List honors for the Fall 2016 term.

Colby-Sawyer College recognizes students for outstanding academic achievement during the fall 2016 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, students must achieve a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale while carrying a minimum of 12 credit hours in graded courses.

Curry College Fall 2016 Dean's List

James Madison University is pleased to announce that the following students made the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester.

The University of Rhode Island is pleased to announce that 5,401 students have qualified for the Fall 2016 Dean's List.

Clemson University awarded more than 1,300 degrees at the December 2016 graduation ceremonies.

Dean's List honors are earned by undergraduate students who carry 12 or more credit hours and achieve a 3.5 grade point average or higher on the 4.0 scale.

Assumption College has announced that 486 students have been named to the College's prestigious undergraduate Dean's List for the fall 2016 semester. To earn a spot on the Dean's List, Assumption students must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 or higher for a five-class, 15-credit semester. The Dean's List is announced twice per academic year, once at the completion of the fall semester, and again at the completion of the spring semester.

A total of 719 students were eligible to walk in Coastal Carolina University's fall 2016 commencement, compared to 595 in 2015 and 590 in 2014. Two ceremonies were held in the HTC Center on campus, one on Friday, Dec. 16 and one on Saturday, Dec. 17. Speaking to Coastal Carolina University's largest class of fall semester graduation candidates, commencement speaker Susan O'Malley advised the graduates to follow their passions. "If you follow you passion, you'll find your purpose," said O'Malley, who, following her own early goals, became the first female president of a professional sports franchise at age 29 when she assumed the leadership of the NBA's Washington Bullets (now the Wizards).

The University of Alabama awarded some 2,270 degrees during winter commencement Saturday, Dec. 10, 2016. With this graduating class, UA will have awarded more than 257,000 degrees since its founding in 1831 as the state's first public university.

High Achieving Students Choose Miami University

Ithaca College student Michayla Savitt created a podcast, "The Scoop on Mental Health," to discuss mental health awareness. Each episode features discussions of different mental health topics while she and her guests eat ice cream.

Roger Williams celebrates spring graduates

St. Lawrence University has welcomed students to the Class of 2020.

Each fall, Holyoke Community College recognizes the academic excellence of students who have achieved a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, or higher, after completing a minimum of 30 semester hours of work at HCC. These students are invited to join the international honor society Phi Theta Kappa and are recognized at Convocation. Congratulations to them for all their hard work!

Ithaca College student Michayla Savitt won second place in the annual Park Tank competition for her idea of a podcast that focuses on raising mental health awareness.

Led by Head Coach Barry Schoonmaker and Assistant Coaches Jen Taylor, Elizabeth Lincoln and Lynn Miller, the team is comprised of 14 student-athletes including three first-year students, four sophomores and seven juniors.

The Fall 2016 Term is underway and Elmira College is pleased to welcome students to campus!

Colby-Sawyer welcomed 297 new students to campus, including first-year students, transfers and the college's first cohort of graduate students set to earn a master's of science in nursing.

In August, Champlain College welcomed the class of 2020 to its Burlington, Vt. campus.

Nichols College graduated 456 students on May 8, 2016, at the DCU Center in Worcester. Massachusetts Gov. Charlie Baker delivered the keynote address.

The following student has been named to the Dean's List at the University of New Hampshire for the spring semester of the 2015-2016 academic year.

Applications to Union College soared to a record number for the Class of 2020, surpassing 6,000 for the first time in the College's history.

Students with at least a 3.50 grade point average were honored with the academic achievement.

The Dean's Award for academic excellence is awarded to students with a 3.30 or higher term average.
